Dear All,
I have a queation pertaining to leave policy. I tried a few sites and all have their own convenient answers. Can any one give me an authentic answer to my question?
In which kind of leave can intervening holidays be excluded?
It would be of great help if you could answer this at the earliest.
Thank you all

Dear Mantu,
Thanks for your response.. I am not sure as to in which leave (CL, SL or EL) can the intervening holidays be excluded. i.e. If a Company works for five days a week(Mon-Fri) and an employee takes leave from friday to monday, what treatment does saturday and sunday attract?
I am informed that in certain types of leaves these intervening holidays are excluded and in this case only two days is deducted from the employees leave credit. While in some this is treated as leave, a total of 4 days is deducted from the employees leave credit.
Regards,
Suresh

In which kind of leave can intervening holidays be excluded
Only CL will be consider in this case
See maximum companies consider this a sandwich leave and mark holiday / week off as leave in falls inbetween.
but if your company wants to give then only CL will be treated.
