Dear Seniors, I\'m in the process of doing Compensation benchmarking.I found glassdoor.com provides some relevant information.I have shortlisted few competitors against which I\'ll be comparing. To validate it, I require any other websites/ tools.
From India, Bangalore

The best method of compensation benchmarking is to get hold of a copy of the latest (most recent) market survey published by a reputable organization in your area. Many websites that provide information about salaries in the internet are not accurate and mostly outdated. Even those who volunteer their data in this forum give out reports that are more than one (1) year old. I have not seen any current data in this site yet.

Compensation benchmarking with the market median rates is a very critical matter and is compliant with the 2nd compensation principle of "External Competitiveness". Therefore, extra care must be made to ensure that the rates you use are correct and reliable. Inaccurate and unreliable data can misled your top management, and they can make wrong decisions that will have serious impact on your organization.

Survey reports are generally NOT free. You have to participate and/ or buy them.

Best regards.
