Hello Seniors,
Need your support on following points:
1. Please brief me points to be checked during the hiring of unskilled labor, contract labor and contractor.
2. What should an employer do in case of higher absenteeism frequency?
3. In my company, labor works for 20 to 30 days and leave, resulted works become hamper. Please suggest me my action in this regards.

Answer for Question Number 1
1. Check whether the person has any addiction like smoking/ Drinking
2. Check in case if he/she is not localite, how frequently they will go to their homwtown
3. How genuine they are regarding the job

1. Try to Find out the reasons
2. Start giving show cause notice/ memo if the reasons are not genuine
Answer for Question Number 3
1. Trying to get more output with limited staff most of the times turn into such cases
2. If the labors are working for 20-30 hours a day then they are sacrificing their personal life. That may be one reason behind their leaving the job.
3. In such a case, you can plan shifts. Prepare proper Overtime policy.
