Hi,
Today i found that one of the person who is with the company from last two months has given fake salary proof and even relieving date is also changed he was working with that company for some months but shown experience of 1 year . I enquired with his manager regarding his performance and he said that he is doing well . Should i inform to management regarding this matter

Hi Seema, I think you should inform the management to avoid discomforts in future that may arise. Regards, "A"

Hi Seema, I would suggest inform your higher management on this. Incase if he performs good.. try retaining him it is all what matters in the end.. :)

It is better to keep the Management in the loop so that they should know about him and if he is proving to be good enough in his work and he can meet the expectations then there is no harm in keeping him i believe....
after all every organization wants the successors rather than failures...isnt it
hope you got the input
Thanks

Dear, It will be in your favour to inform your seniors the facts. No organisation can survive for a long time where such misguiding employees are employed. Thanks, Amit Kumar Tawar

rather than informing mgmt on a adhoc finding that one of the employee's ahs fuidged his resume...
to depict HR in proper light, introduce a background screening policy n let this be the first finding a few weeks down the line....

I would suggest that you inform your seniors about the falsification of information and formally put it :D on record.
Whilst his performance may be good and undertsandably his team would be reluctant to let him go accepting this and not acting on it despite being aware may just send out the wrong signals about value system in the long run and seriously impact it.
I would suggest that the best course of action may be to have a formal process of checks in place and keep prospective employees informed about the process :D

Hi Seema
In my opinion, a strict disciplinary action should be taken against him, no matter whether he is a great performer or a non performer. What you can do is call him and talk to him and tell him about your findings. If he accepts the fact that he has changed the resume just to get into your organisation and if he is apologetic about it, you get the same in writing and give him a warning and leave the matter. If he dont accept the fact that he changed the resume and sticks on with his false resume, then you should fire him. If you are building an organisation with lasting values, then you should have ethical people. Ethics goes a long way. There are plenty of people available in the market you can always recruit another person in his place.

Sohail
