Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Krishna.(40 yrs) I am working as French teacher in a CBSE school outside india for about 16 years. I recently did MBA in international business thru correspondence for Annamali university.
I would like to shift my job from job to corporate field. I am seeking as Marketing executive.
Why marketing? I recently started teaching marketing as well in the same school for 11 graders.
Why do i want to shift?
For monetary boost.
Is my decision right?
How far i will i be successful?
I am open to training, and learning the new job.
Please advice

Hello Krishan,
While appreciating your desire to switch to corporate sector, a couple of points.
Pl confirm/clarify if you are also looking to return back to India or shift abroad itself.
Your background seems to be more of French language expertize than marketing. And given your primary reason to shift being money [nothing wrong in that per se], Foreign language experts are much in demand--for Translator or Interpreter jobs. If you have done any Certifications in french, then that could be a better direction for you to go--you could cash-in on this primary skill of yours as well as shift to the corporate world. Many corporates look for language experts for their global operations.
Given that your Marketing exposure is limited to only a MBA+some academic work, it could be a bit tough for you to get into the corporate world with such a exp combination--while this usually isn't the case for foreign language experts.
All the Best.
