Thanks for the revert.
1. I need the matter of extend probation period and shall issue by later head or any paper with stamp ?
2. For Marketing manager, can we mention the business target on letter of intent with important few rules of company. Company do not want to issue appointment letter. Is Letter of Intent is appropriate as appointment or not ? Kindly Suggest

1. Issuance of extension letter on plain paper with rubber stamp of authority and signature will not make any difference.

It is desirable if you have issued an appointment letter on letter head in that event Extension of probation has to be issued on letter head.

we should observe office decorum in offcial correspondence when the question of employment/extension/ retirement/termination has to observe with employee by issuing letter on letter head..

2. Any kind of communication whether it is offer letter or appointment letter you can expressed desired expectation of the managaement from the employee which can include Target/ discipline/notice period for ceasing of employment etc.. As a prudent HR practices Offer letter indicates only designation /remuneration/medical fir/reference check /joining period etc.. No employer say for Targets or expectation of job from employee. It is also desirable to issue detailed appointment letter to any person for safeguarding interest of the management .
