Dear All,
I am asked to prepare a system on Leadership Development of a big chemical product company.
Right now employees of Management are just sent at random courses.
Please help and guide me accordingly.
Appreciate your response.

Hi Najam,
Let me try and help you.
Without looking into any book or using help from the Web, can you please think and tell me what leadership means to you?

Hi Najam:
Your question is very broad and I believe it would help to identify a point to start working. Possibly you could look at the Competency Framework in your organization and what are the requirements for senior leaders. Based on the same you could look at planning long term interventions. (3-6 months). Use of psychometric instruments could give you data points for further developmental activities.

Dear Najam,

If you are interested to conduct the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) in right earnest then I can offer you a solution.

I have prepared comprehensive outline for 2-year LDP. It is far more than training. To implement this LDP, you need support from your top management. Secondly, alike "Management Representative" of ISO 9000, this LDP also requires "LDP Representative". He/she is to track the progress of the participants and record their improvement.

For any training or OD intervention, we should be able to measure, Return on Investment (ROI) or Return on Change (ROC). I will give you support on this also.

The benefit of hiring my services is that I myself conduct the training or mentoring and do not outsource it further to anyone. Therefore, if you deal with me, you will deal with the service provider directly.

Please confirm you e-mail ID and I shall mail you further details.

The most important goal of leadership is to create a highly motivated, highly committed workforce with very high morale and innovation literally loving to come to work and being over 300% more productive than is poorly engaged.
If that is what you want, I can teach/coach your senior executives and middle level managers the simple actions required to achieve that goal.
To sample and learn what I offer, go to my website linked below.

Thanks Sathyaish,
leadership means that qualities a person should have to be able to influence others, get the work done, achieve goals, meet targets etc.

Rohan, That’s what i need help for. currently we don’t have any such system about competency framework etc. Help me get this all done thanks najam
From Saudi Arabia
Najam, You’re right. Now work off of that list you just gave me and elaborate each point and you’ve got a framework yourself. Most things are common sense.

Thanks for explaining. What I have will equip each level with what they need to achieve a very high performing workforce I described. I strongly recommend that I first work with your highest level and then that person or persons can decide if they want to have their subordinate executives and managers taught.
I suggest you contact me [email protected] to start the conversation. We could then skype so that you will understand the details.
Best regards, Ben Simonton
