Can someone help me to know if an employee has resigned or terminated "paying gratuity is mandatory or its employer’s wish"
Dear Pinto ,
If any employee resigns from the organization & he has been completed five years in Organization , that it is compulsory to pay his gratuity by his employer , but if he has terminated from the organization in this case the it is up to employer to pay his gratuity or not , according to termination reason or misconduct.
