Hello All Seniors,
Kindly give me some information about ESIC..i know the basic information like about benefits and contributions.but there are certain issues which are unsolved for me..
1. if i am registering myself for ESIC this month(september 2012),then when i will be eligible for availing the benefits?suppose if i met with an accident next month, will i get any benefit/cash?who will pay me?employer or from ESIC ofc?
2. govt is paying any annual interest?
3. if an employee is registered in ESIC in his previous company and current company do not provide any such benefits/ statutory compliances?then what will he do?how can he contribute?is the employer bound to contribute?if he can avail any benefits in emergency, though if he has not contributed for 2 or months?
4. if any employee shifting from one state to another state, what he have to do?

Dear Shekhar,
Both your ppts on MB Act & ESI Act are excellent snapshots of the Acts. Well done. Do you hv any on other ppts on other major Labour Laws such as EPF Act, ID Act, Factories Act, etc. If so, it would be great if you could share the same.
Thanks and regards,

Nice PPT Anshu..............
Dear Sujata,
An employee is eligible for availing the benefits after 7 days of registering under ESI & ESI will pay in case of accident.
As the ESI amount is a non refundable contribution, the Govt. is not paying any intrest on this.
