That’s a good survey Sucheta. But how is this related to your current job in DRDO? Rgds, TS

Thanks for showing interest. I am also associated with Defence institute of psychological research (DIPR). DIPR is a centre of excellence in military psychology. It provides psychological support to the armed forces in selection, training, effective man-machine interface and motivation to enhance mental health and operational efficiency of the armed forces. Apart from this, we do explore other areas on which no research has been done in India. In relation to the said context, I am involved in a project which aims to see how the personality and intelligence influences one's job performance in the workplace.
I would also request u to spend u precious time and effort in filling up the same. Your response is valuable for me and in return, if u wish, I can generate a personality profile chart that will help u to introspect yourself.

Dear Sucheta,
Thank you for posting the internet-based survey.Looks comprehensive. Has the instrument been tested for its validity and reliability? Will you be using the result to submit thesis for a degree award or publishing articles in journals?
A couple of observations. When I see questionnaires that ask for personal details at the outset, they put me off. I have posted links to good questionnaire design at CiteHR in the past.
Another piece of advice to bloggers is that we should avoid using SMS texting language on professional sites, while seeking professional help.

Dear Sucheta
Don't you feel it is bigger than the biggest questionnaire ever you filled?
Whenever you are making some psychologicaligal questionnaire it must be with limited questions and it will make others to feel bore to fill more answers. With this type of questionnaire you will not get the correct details about anyone's personality trait. I have filled judiciously only upto 26 question. Afterwards I too filled just like that to complete the taken task.
Expecting some smaller questionnaire for personality test.

Dear Simhan,

Thanks for your comments. Firstly, the instruments used in the questionnaire have been validated and are found out to have high reliability in Indian context. Secondly, the responses collected through the online survey shall be analyzed collectively and the results will be published in some international journal as desired by the organization. Thirdly, personal information such as name, residential address, contact number etc. have been kept as optional. Other details such as organization name , years of experience, marital status etc. carries some meaning for the research being conducted. I also ensure complete confidentiality of the information revealed by the participants of the survey. I will positively go through the links you have posted for designing a good survey. Next time, while seeking professional help I will surely incorporate the suggestions given by you.

Once again, thanks for showing interest in the survey.
