I am an assisstant HR general;ist in an outbound call center.My boss asked me to design a weekly recognition program for employees,other than incentives.
Seniors,.can any one help me out?
We already have daily,weekly and monthly incentives,publishing desktop wall with pictures of top performers in each campaign,Excellence certificates,wall of fame,Fortune wheel.
I need something different from all these for on the floor motivation.
I gave a suggetion bands which can be worn on forhead or hand with best performers written,which is rolling,badges,feather on a cap etc..he is asking for some thing different..

At the end of the day, recognition is about motivating our employees to be their best. I would start by understanding what motivates your employees. Send out a short survey inquiring about what makes them tick--the answers might surprise you. In my experience more employees are more motivated by a supervisor's compliment or show of appreciation more than receiving a silver clock or plaque. Of course, tangible gifts have their place but they should only be part of a larger recognition strategy/culture. You may want to do a Google search of recognition vendors--check out Next Jump.
