Acquire immense knowledge but act ignorant, chew little lesser than what you can swallow, listen more and speak less, aim high but look straight may be some of the practical stress relief mantras.

Hello Mr Sudhir,
It is a unique presentation on Stress Management.
Some people present stress only as a negative emotion, yours being different.
As you rightly pointed out meeting deadlines, planning a tight schedule in day,
hectic travel all induce some stress.
Is this referred to as Eu Stress ?
The benevalent aspects of stress has been brought out nicely.
May I point out a statistical inaccuracy to Contributor Bharghavi.
India's current population is estimated to be 1.22 Billion.
So the suicide percentages would drastically come down.
However that does not justify the absolute numbers in any way, particulary when we
take pride in announcing our advancing education levels, growing economic development,
being a force to reckon with etc.It is a concern area that needs to be addressed.

Thank You Mr. Raghunathan... Sorry for the wrong figure... I actually had to put it as billions instead of Millions. I correct myself.. Thanks for the right figure Regards, Bharghavi

Dear Dr Jogeshwar Mahanta,
My concern is about the suicide numbers, be it male or female.
In a growing trend of literacy,we should be managing 'stress' better.
So that is the prime concern area according to me.
From the statistics provided the message conveyed is
"Stress is driving people to the extent of commiting suicide."
According to me gender disparity is certainly also a concern and
needs to be addressed differently as it stems from other reasons.

Thanks but strange that suicide statistics does to arouse concern unless it is politically motivated like farmers' suicide. The volume of suicide has almost doubled in last 30 years.

Dear Jogeshwar Sir,
By this, do you infer that Male suicide cases are more than females... Do you also mean that females have more capacity to manage stress?
Do you also mean that suicides are happening only because people are not able to manage stress?
Sir, please give us your inferences of your figures clearly... I'm a bit confused as to what you are trying to tell us...
You can always correct your juniors if we are wrong..
Regards,
Bharghavi
