Office politics - credit of hard work goes to another colleague
Dear all recently one of my colleagues has been complaining about politics going on in our office she complains saying the credit of her hard work goes to another colleague from her office just bcoz he is in good books with the senior mgmt . she feels she is suppressed from her growth in the organization and cant concentrate on work bcoz of such atmosphere in office . she is currently depressed and needs help. please help me to solve this situation for her.

Hi respected seniors... i work as junior hr in a pune office of 2030 people housed in 2 floors. earlier we just had 1 peon. now we have 3 peons and we want to structure everything. i have heard that most offices have a task list for peons and office boys in india where they are assigned work such as cleaning arranging for refreshments for staff etc. i request you to share your office formats. i also want to know how to divide work among the peons for cleaning and distributing food tea office papers for the staff and even going for office bills payments.
Regularising office time - ideas which can make employees come on time?
Dear all i work in a company where we have 11 employees who sit in office and work. we are tired of telling them to come within 10 am to office but no one is following the same. even couple of times strict mail also being sent by of no use. i do not wish to deduct their salaries as it will be too much deduction then and they will get very less salary. pls suggest some ideas which can make them come on time to office.
Make employees more professional and morally responsible towards work
Dear seniors we are into it; central office is at pune and regional office at kolkata and nagpur. we are facing following issues 1 employeess dress sensenot professional. 2 personal cleanliness /grooming are not acceptable. 3 lack of professionalism .very casual behavior at work place is seen. 4 telephonic conversation with clients is very poor. 5 professional email drafting is very marginal. 6 we got guest house privilege at above mentioned cities. even those are not kept clean. 7 responsibility towards both work and office infrastructure/utilities is nil. project work is abandons giving personal reasons. how should we reply to our clients? we are responsible to our clients too for work completion. as far as office infrastructure/utilities are concerned less accountability is seen. my challenge is to make them more professional and also more morally responsible towards work and office infrastructure/utilities but not through punishment or humiliation but through process of reward. how this can achieved? please help. regards sapana

Sincerely tell when u start working? dear hr friends do sincerely tell that when u start working at the start of your day and when u stop working. for eg if office timings are 09.30 to 06.00 some people reach office at 09.15 and take half an hour to settle down and start work at 09.45 while some reach at 09.45 and immediately start work similar type while leaving office some people stop work at 05.45 and get ready in last 15 mins to leave office at 06.00 while some stop working at 06.00 and leave office by 06.15 and so on. so tell me in morning and evenings when u reach office start work stop work and leave office and wats ur office timings. lovebird
Foreign nationals working on visit visa...is it legal?
Hi friends are foreign nationals who visit india on a visit visa eligible to work here? recently i came across an organization which has it s liaison office in india and the head office abroad. the head office regularly send in people who stay and work in the indian office. they visit factories get the work done however the salary for their services is paid to them is in their native country and in the native currency my question is is this legal? if not what is the law and where could one complaint? please suggest regards pankaj
