You are at the start of the career all u need to do is be patient, first try and analyze y your not assigned task. (if you can understand its good for you).

Read your job role in the offer letter again. Now understand to whom you actually report and then try to get along with them by asking few basic questions related to the company, HR process, policy etc.. Take time and read the company policy again and find ways to get clarification (actually these are indicators which show u are interested to learn and u are willing to do work if assigned to you.

Try getting along with Sr. HR or other Executives HR if you have them in your team. Tag along with them learn the job by asking them constant questions. You need to start the spinning as its ur career. Try and assist other HR in ur team by helping them complete their work. This will naturally attract the attention of your HR manager and he/she will soon start assigning task to you (initially they might find fault in u if they donít want or prefer you but later things will start rolling if ur a quick learner and easy to move along with. (this can happen only when are ready to learn and flexible enough to stretch and work).

The virtue of patience and analysis are keys skills of HR this needs to be constantly cultivated and needs to be evergreen as long as we want to stay in the field of Human Resource

Resigning from the job is not the solution. Getsie is right. You mix up with your HR team.....and try to note your observations about the deptt and the organisation. You discuss your suggestions for improvement with your HR team.Initially you may not be adatable to the environment, but slowely and gradually you will find a great place to work...Moreover there is no gurranty for the next new organisation !

When you are a fresher and in your first job, usually, no one will give you work...not even if you ask. You have to take the work. Instead of sitting on internet, sit with your seniors, see what they are doing, offer them help and then in the process take-up that assignment. Understand the company business, find out who are the competitors of the company, best HR practices in the company, understand the organizational structure. Start sharing your inputs. Seniors will not give you the work, because they don't want to spend time in training you.

I completely agree with the last three comments. People usually leave a job saying that there wasn\'t enough learning in the profile, but one must first ensure that you have tried out evrything possible.
Try interacting with your team mates as much as possible and try extracting things from them, that\'s the best way to make your place in the system and soon you\'ll be visible enough. All the Best

Not sure how big is your organization. Being a HR person why don't you interact with the other employees of the organization and come up with a kind of report on people's constraints and policy related problems. Every organization has its constraints but when you do an analysis that is useful for the organization and you'd deserve an appreciation even if your HR manager doesn't like. It The market trends if you see are speaking of a matrix organization which work more independent and autonomous of the reporting manager. But the reporting resources should see the confidence and worthiness on oneself and within to challenge the situations and the bosses. It is not just about conflicting with them but more of an approach with challenges that make them restless and unassuming on issues and situations. You got to prove your worth before your manager and it appears that you have to put more effort in the positive direction.

Remember that Internet is a resource, data source and an excellent tool but the intelligence to use it, is with the user. Don't waste time. The career goals are not just important for your professional life but also for your own growth and personal benchmarking. Good Luck.
