I'd suggest you All India Management Association(AIMA), the apex body of management education in Inda, which also conducts MAT. First, it is approved by AICTE. And second, it has its nodal centre across the country where you've to compulsory attend atleast 50% of classes on weekend. Attending classes that too on weekend only provides you the opportunity to learn the management skills like a regular candidate. It has two sessions, Janaury & July, so you can take admission in either of the session. For more information, please visit its website: AIMA.

Bhumi, Real thanks for valuable inputs. I was going through their website and found them recognized by competent bodies like AICTE and DEC but its a PGDM and I am looking to pursue Degree. The ultimate plan is to look for PhD also later, if conditions permit. Any idea, if I do from AIMA will I be eligible for PhD

If you are planning to do distance learning from symbiosis and then do PHD, It would depend on different universities. As distance learning institute, Symbiosis has a reputation. But some institutes specially on top notch does not accept distance learning nor satellitte based PG courses in terms of PHD. If you have plans to do PHD specially from top institutes, I would suggest full time MBA from an institute.
In short, if you have plans for PHD, make sure you check the links of institutes you have plans to do PHD and check if they want candidates to do full time PG course and not satellite based or distance learning based courses
