Dear Seniors,
I created a login in employee master portal for accessing E-pass book for PF. But when name and account number of the employee who has joined in May 2012 was given, it says "your name and number match is not correct". I would like to know what might be the problem.
In the website it says following.
"Dear EPF Members !!
• Register online to view your EPF Account Passbook.
• The facility at present is only for the members for whom the employer has uploaded the Electronic Challan Cum Return for the wage
month of May 2012 onwards.
many other points".
I am doing the ECR method by attaching .CSV files from may 2012 onwards. So data of the new joinees will be given in the file. I wanted to know where the problem lies.
Thanking you in advance.

Once you register it will take 2-3 days for activation. Then you will get SMS. Once you receive SMS you shall login and download Employee Pass Book

Once I registered immediately I got the message and was a able to login. But when I enter and name and PF account number (of the employee who joined in may 2012) it says
"You have entered invalid Member ID or Name"
But when old employees' details was given, it says
"You can view your E-pass book in 3 days and you will get an SMS for the same."
My doubt is when the name and account number of the employee who joined in may 2012 is fed then also it shud give the message "You can view your E-pass book in 3 days and you will get an SMS for the same" since website says the facility is present for those who are doing by ECR method from may onwards.Or is there any other problem that I shud take care of.
Hope you can help me.
