I am a fresher, I have been getting calls for jobs as an HR recruiter and i am getting offers for around 6-8k for a month , i am confused whether to take it up or not, the package is very less and i am badly confused.

Being as a fresher you don't look for package. Tell me are you interested in recruitment or in which field you are interested. Based on the interest in your domain take the opportunities. Once you get good experience then you will get good package

I started with this package some years ago. This package is bit less for current time but if you think the job will give you a good learning opportunity then go ahead. You haven't mentioned what is your qualification. But if you are graduate then you can ask for 12-15k monthly. Nowadays freshers ask for minimum 15-20 k monthly. Yes since you are fresher you have to focus more on job and learning opportunity than package, but this one is little less. And if you start with this, then possibly in future other companies will hire you by only giving 20 - 30 % raise on this. So you will have to make a strategic start. It is better to wait a bit more. There are many companies that hire freshers and give good starting salary. If you are in hurry to get a job with good package and interested in HR field, then in my opinion, for one or two year start with bpo job with HR profile. Yes, there are many HR bpo too and some bpo hiring HR recruiters with shift duty. If you can't find HR profile then start with customer care profile initially. Don't worry about bpo, you don't have to work in bpo for life time. But you can make a start with it. Because first of all they pay very good, second bpo is very good place to develop communication skills and teamwork ability.. And once you start with higher salary, you will be eligible to ask a raise on your current salary, for eg: if you start with 7k, you will get paid 10 k in next job, but if you start with 15 k, you will probably paid 20 k in next one.
