A couple of ideas for you to consider -
1) Watch the news in english
2) read english newspapers & books
3) try and converse as often as possible with others in english. Preferably speak with someone who manages english better than you do, and ask him / her to explain things you don't understand.
4) Buy an english dictionary - Oxford is good enough or log onto www.dictionary.com
5) Buy a Wren & Martin book for correct grammar.
As you would realise, the above points can be used to learn any language.

I prefer, you must read newspapers and try to put in paper what you understand, in your own style daily minimun 4 to 5 pages and compare that with the actual news, you can identify the difference . And try to write it again and again
This will help you in two ways
1) you will have update News
2) You will be learn good english , it will improve written skills.

As you imporve it try to put words in speaking also .

2. Always keep a pocket dictionary handy and make reading dictionary ur habbit. Whenever u have time, u can read your pocket dictionary.
3. Never try to translate.

Our HR Friends have already given you many Valuable Tips. I would like to tell few things which I myself applied in order to improve my English.
If you want to converse in a better manner, One thing is Most Important and it is that you should "THINK IN ENGLISH ". We generally think in Hindi and when we are to talk in English we tend to translate it in English which takes a lot of time and we are not then able to talk fluently.
Also I would suggest you to Improve upon your Grammer first. Like others friends have suggested, you can take the help of Books, Newspapers, News etc.
Just be determined and you'll surely be successful :icon1:
