Intent Letters are used during the merger and acquisitions process to outlines a firm's plan to buy/take over another company. For example, the letter of intent will disclose the specific terms of the transaction
But where in offer letter is given for the employee as the organisations is offering the job or assignment. It even specifies the Pay and the date of Joining.

sir one of the seniours says intent letter means while we are giving offer letter to the employee if he accept it and sign the offer letter this is called intent letter is it right
and another one of the seniour says intent letter means taking as a temperally for 1 or 2 years to keep an observation a emplyee is it right i am waiting for ur reply sir

Once the employee accepts the offer letter its just confirmation of acceptance of offer letter.
