Hello Ritesh,
Pl give more details like what was the earlier designation & the new one, any other reason(s) that were given for the change in the designation [apart from 'organisation structure change'], your function/role in the MNC, etc.
It may not be possible to give realistic suggestions unless you give ALL the details.

Hi Ritesh,
I Second TS thoughts.
Besides, it is an accepted practice to change "Designation" due to changes in managements thoughts to realigned business plan and future growth. What important you have to note is
1. Has your "KPI" and "KRA" changed due to this changes. If Yes, will it effect your performance?
2. What's your current hierarchy in ORG chart of company after changes?
3. Will your current and future monitory benefits is being effected?
4. Have others in your Grade, also being effected, or is it only you who have been targeted? If Yes, have a counselling done with HR and your reporting Boss?
This is just what came to my mind now. Hoping to get more info question asked by TS.

Hi Ritesh,
As far as my knowledge goes, your case is almost like you are demoted in stead of promotion. This demotion is not at all a part of clause in any organization. Since it is not a part of clause of your company you may not ask them to render an explanation for this. To some extent you may ask, but their answer will not suffice your requirement. In this case, any ones mind cannot rest in peace. It is better to relinquish this present company and seek other job which is appropriate to your profile and promotion.
