Hello Dear,
I have an experience more than admin cum assistant in IT company now i left my company..
now i am not able to qualify interview because of my bad communication skills.....
when i speak English my pronunciation is not clear and i commit mistake to use grammar and i got confused.
Pleas help me to improve my self

Dear Ms. Veena,
The only way to improve yourself is by reading a lot of articles in Newspapers and Books. By this you may understand how to conversate. Mostly, try to speak in what ever way (lay man language) even if there might be any grammatical errors. Watch business channels and try using a dictionary in case of difficulty.
By this way you will improve your comm. skills in a better way. Be confident, never loose hope.

Here are few simple ways you can try :
01) Listen More - Watch English News & Programmes regularly- Listen carefully to the pronunciation and try using the same when you make conversation.
02) Read More - Reading Novels & Newspapers introduce you to new world of worlds. Hence you can update your vocabulary too.

I respect the way in which you have accepted that you want to improve your communication skills.(English is only a language to express)

Above said thing will definitely help you in gaining knowledge about English but not the required experience and that too in an unskilled manner because in your case while reading you will continue reading with wrong pronunciation.

And before suggesting you the ways may i know what have you done in the past to improve your communication skills(Here i am referring to English) and What problems you face while speaking(Is it the clarity of thoughts, Or is it the lack of knowledge about the words or sentence construction)From the way you have written your problem it....I will suggest "BACK TO THE BASIC"

Hi Veena,
Its a common problem of many people because English is not our national language but if you want to grow in corporate industry then your communication skill should be very good i am just giving some tips to improve your English.
1. Read English Paper infant of Mirror.
2. Try to make one friend with whom you can speak in English only.
3. Watch English Movie.
4. Buy a book or download from internet one tongue twister it will help you lot.
5. Don't hesitate to speak English never mind you are using write word or wrong just keep in mind your flow of sentence should not be stop till your sentence will not complete.

in addition if u can be on video , you may be able to get better communication soon.
I also caution u it is not a quick fix solution or magic .it will need sincere deleberate efforts for min 16 to 20 weeks .

I do not know your background. However since you have worked as an admn assistant you are able to cope up with the routine work. One thing is clear that if you are in HR/Admn there are a lot of communication to be done in the office. You will be able to talk to different set of people and so your communication must be effective. All are not born genius. It is necessary that you must try to improve your communication. It is easy and happen automatically.
Follow this method.
1. Talk to persons in your family in english only.
2. Read english news papers daily
3. Read the editorial in the news papers in English daily especially Hindu
4. Daily take the dictionery and find out the meaning of atleast 10 to 15 words.
5. Never try to talk to executives in your regional language
6. Read lot of novels and historical books from the library.
if you do the above I am sure you will be able to gain confidence in a period of three months and further you can improve on it.

Pl take one good writer english-hindi-english dictionary book and read it minimum half hrs. Daily and try to speak english always and write this words four to five times in a this way your meaning stock and pronunciation.

as per your little problem i suggest u one thing reading the books u get knowledge watching the news u get some listening power so that u always try to speak in english only with your friends it will helpful to your communication
