Hi Zaveed,
If you have experience as payroll background, are you shifting to HR generalist becoz your got MBA. Then, I feel, its a bad decision.
At payroll you also have a great vertical growth to reach pinnacle of your career with good pay scale. If you have commerce background and interest wit figures this is good bet for a fruitful and peaceful career.
Remembers, HR generlist in most company is a target driven career. I don't doubt of your capabilities, but if you fail on TAT, success will be bit sheepish.
Please design your resume on what you have done and known with your expertise. (MS Word, has excellent resume formats for help). Their is nothing called HR Generalist resume format. Don't copy any pre-formated CV, recruiters today have an eye to copycats. Rather, I feel you design your unquie CV.
So, please plan your move more carefully as I guess you would have to start as fresher as Generalist.
