I need some advice. I signed a service agreement with a private Medical college a deemed University and was professor and HOD. This additional other agreement was 3 months after my employment with existing original employment agreement which did not include fresh requirements . The essence of these is they will give PG seat to my son. and I will be given concession in fees.I have to serve the Institute for 5 yrs.If break the bond I will have to pay 20 Lakhs. My son was admitted on the basis of All India Entrance test conducted by the Institute. But he faced severe harassment in the department from his seniors for which authorities after repeated complaints did not take any action. He faced continued harassment( putting long duty hrs 6o hrs at a stretch, humiliation, bad language scolding, threats, tearing off of written case files, denying proper rest, very poor unhygienic work conditions etc, etc, for which i have documentary evidence of complaint about these matters by another senior professor and head of the department) which became intolerable to him for which ragging complaint was lodged. They made farce of an enquiry with 3 members from the institute employers only.He dropped out of the course and I left the Institute sending resignation via fax. They rejected it and threatened to go to court to recover liquidated damages 20 L including full fees of nearly 9 Lakhs. I asked for relieving letter which was neccessary for my employment in another medical college. They did not give which prevented me from employment as professor for nearly 8 months.I asked for original certificates of my son .they did not release them.

Is the bond Valid.Since it breaches the MCI and UGC rules which are binding on the Institute framed under the Supreme court ruling which say that admission to PG course must be on Merit. The bond includes a clause which promises to give a seat on the basis of service agreement to father.Kindly opine what is position. i am under distress
