Dear Seniors,
In my Co there is one lady who is separated from her husband and has only one daughter who is minor. Then whom she can make nominee for PF .
As far as I know nominee can be married only.
Please guide me .

Hi,
As far as nominee is concern you can nominate your husband's dependent parents i.e. your mother-in-law & father-in-law or you can nominate your daughter as well...
Seniors pls.correct me if i am wrong.

Dear Ravita
It is better to nominate the minor daughter for PF purpose. It is logical that if the daughter is minor then her mother will have considerable pending number of years of service. The nominee comes in picture in case of death of PF member. Other wise the lady can nominate her own mother, father, sister or alternatively she can nominate her daughter and any one member of family with 50% share to each.
