Dear moderator(s),

I feel I am making my humble contribution to the society at large by creating these motivational audio files with great pain (it takes about 7 to 8 hours to create one) and giving them out for free.

I am doing this to spread motivation and ambition among people. These are life skills and are an important ingredient of training.

I therefore post each poem in both the forums -- Motivation & Improvement, and this one (Employee Development & Training) because they are both relevant forums for motivational training and these little priceless nuggets, I think, will be immensely helpful for everyone.

Each web page that has a poem on my website gets a huge number of page visit from your forums.

I have been observing that you occasionally delete my post from one of the two forums because it is a duplicate post. I request you to please allow me a concession in this regard. This is my humble contribution.

The days that you delete these poems, there are many people who don't get to know of them and as a result, they don't visit the page, which otherwise, they would have taken the chance to listen to.

I get nothing out of these but the joy that I am touching hearts. Your website also gets content.

I request you to please let these posts remain in the two forums.

This is getting really irritating now. Once again, just now, one of the moderators removed my post from this forum. The post was the same as the one I made in the Motivation & Improvement forum.

Honestly, moderators, would you like to kill this community with this compulsive control-freakish behavior?
Have you even listened to the audio I posted?
It is a 20+ minute motivational audio on which I spent over 10 hours making just to spread these motivational ideas.
Do you otherwise wish to filter these ideas and only leave trashy posts that you don't learn anything from?
I am making this post again. Please do not delete this post. A lot of people benefit from these audio programs and you'd be foolish to delete such posts and retain the also-ran, bland ones.

My dear moderators again,

Please, oh please, I request you to kindly read this message.

I post motivational audio programs that I spend hours and hours producing and make them available for free for the benefit of those who might be going through tough times. I want a broader reach and your wonderful forum allows me to reach lots of people.

I get lots of hits everyday from your forums. This means that lots of people are interested in the content I post and it helps them fill their day with enthusiasm and motivation.

I post each poem in two forums:

1) Employee Training and Development; and

2) Motivation & Improvement.

Because the audio programs I produce are and can be used as training content, therefore they are highly relevant to appear in the above two forums.

Please understand that I get nothing from making these postings. These are my way of reaching out to nurse the hearts of those who might be in despair.

I request you once again, with folded hands. Please do not delete these posts, even though they appear in two forums. The purpose is to reach many people who need them.

I am sure you will cooperate, as always.

Hi Sathyaish,
You are correct the threads which were deleted were because of duplication. While I appreciate and understand your reason, repeat posting of the same content cannot be allowed for obvious reasons.
If we allow you, we must allow everyone and then we will be looking at a list of duplicates and triplicates of the same link on our home page and on the recent page. That would terrible user experience.
I hope you will understand and will post your content only on one category - we are not targeting any single user and we do allow all kinds of content cause we understand that there are many use cases on our network.
Regards,
Sid

Yeah, that should be fine. We actually just review a list of posts and if duplicates come up we try to remove the one with no replies. Thanks for understanding. :) Regards, Sid

Dear Satyaish
In addition to what you have suggested; you can also post a link of your new thread; at the end of your 'current' thread.
In any case; there is no need of posting same identical material on two or several forums. Any relaxation in this; irrespective of the quality of material; would subsequently lead to spam !!
Sid, of course, has already given the last word on this.
Warm regards.

Dear Satyaish,

In addition to what have been suggested and offered, please consider my request. Please consider forming your group in CiteHR and inviting your followers to attend it. This will allow you self-moderation in your group and post as many messages , as you may wish to. The group will offer you a far better curation, to all the contributions you are making to this community.

Here's how I formed a group on an area, super close to my heart. I formed a Book Club <link updated to site home> , for reviewing books and invited members. This way, I could post as many messages, as I want, setting rules for moderation, on my own. I can even share the link to this group to any other community, I ever wish to, for my friends and colleague to access them.

Here's more on how to build a group in Cite Communities - <link outdated-removed>

Hope you would consider this request. Please allow me to help you in case you need any support. Please count me in, if you are starting this group.

Thankyou, once again for the effort!
