Department always insists to cover all the employees, even those who are getting salary of more than Rs.6500/-. Example: An employee gets salary of Rs.10,000/- per month. According Dept. the said employee is to be covered under the Act and Pf has to be deducted for Rs.6500/-. Please Confirm whether it is correct.

Dear Friend, Yes 100% right EPF and EPS both are applicable for you. Rs.6500/- EPS deduct from Rs.6500/- EPF deduct from actual Basic + DA.
