Hello everyone !
I have recently registered in this forum due to interest in HR field. I am in the final phase of my B.Tech(ME). Sometime down the line, I would like to pursue MBA - HR. As a result of the research I have done for the past few days regarding HR Management, I found out that there are two roles namely HR Generalist & HR Specialist. I would like to know the eligibility to attain a HR Specialist designation. Does it come by experience in a particular stream or Shall I have to undergo any certification courses or is it part of the MBA HR Programme ? Thanks in advance for your response

HR Specialist role is attained by work experience in particular field of HR like recruitment specialist or Compensation & Benefits specialist etc etc.
Also, there are few certifications available that can help you that can help you start your career in HR specialist role rather than HR generalist like SAP-HR course, Train the trainer course etc etc
