HI ALL,
I am AJIT NAIR from AHMEDABAD. I have completed my MBA IN HR. I have got a job offer from an IT COMPANY FOR THE POST OF ERP HR PAYROLL CONSULTANT.
THE JD GOES LIKE THIS:
> Strong background & understanding of consulting ,
> business process and Payroll.
> Design & documentation the business requirements,
> configure the solution,
> Develop & test functional designs.
I WANTED SOMEBODY TO GUIDE ME WHETHER THIS PROFILE WOULD BE HELPFUL TO ME IN FUTURE. WOULD BE REALLY GRATEFUL TO ALL SINCE I AM A FRESHER AND I AM A BIT CONFUSED. I ALSO HAVE AN OFFER FROM A RPO FOR CONSULTING & BD PROFILE. PLEASE UPDATE ME ON THAT ALSO.
REGARDS,
AJIT NAIR

Ajit ,as a fresher you need to grab any offer that comes in your way as long it is HR related ,since your specialization is in HR.
Also you need to clarify whether they told you to work on any ERP s/w or anything else etc. Also im not sure about your job offer as a consultant since you are a frsher.May be you have misunderstood the designation.Give some more clarity.

Working on Pay roll though related to HR but not core HR. It is, in my view, is more an administrative and accounting function. However designing compensation and benfits is a HR function and the incumbent can devlop himself into a specialist in future.

Sandeep Sir, the recruitment consultant firm has the job profile of searching from job portals, convincing people for job change, manage targets.
> It is what my profile is at the RPO.
> What I am not able to know is that the title HR ERP PAYROLL EXECUTIVE would help me with my growth in HR career or should I stick with any consulting firm?

Also Sir, the Jd of HR ERP consultant states that I would be handling around 10 to 15 clients. SME's in nature wherein I would have to provide them training for using the ERP software. And co-ordinating with them more any required changes and getting approval for the same.
Ajit, whatever profile is related to HR just jump on it now,Learn more about HR functions while you are on job.Slog out for a few years and then look for a good break. As per your information does count as a recruitment experience. So go ahead and work. All the best!!!
