Hi
I am not sure whether this is the right place to post this query....
I have a doubt in PF transfer Process ....Whether the EPS amount will transfer from old employer to new employer's account or not.
For example I worked for "X" company and which is having their own PF trust and later Joined "Y" company which will manage the PF Through RPFC.
I submitted the PF TRansfer form 13 and The amount transfered from Trust to RPFC account. I got annexure K from previous employer and it is showing EPF amount only.
I doubt whether the EPS amount I mean amount related to form 10 C will transfer to new account when we transfer the PF from Trust to RPFC account.

Hi
Recently i came to know EPS amount will not be transferred to RPFO from TRUST account and similarly if you work previously with RPFO account holder establishment and joined to TRUST account holder establishment also the same case.
Even i asked why they told me this all due to trust got exemption for EPF amount alone.
Still i need some experts reply in this regard.
Thanks

Hi Ponlaxmi, No trust is keeping the EPS portion. The custodian of EPS fund is EPFO. It can be transferred when you join another employer, as far as I knw. Wait for experts comment. Pon

Hi,
As very less no. of Trust has exemption to maintain pension fund. Yours is same trust who have take exemption for EPF fund and having pension fund with RPFC. In that case you have to file a separate form-13 to present RPFC for transfer your pension amount with Annexure K and cheque you received from your trust.

As already pointed out there are hardly and establishment that have exemption from Pension Fund. So the Custodian of Pension Fund is RPFC, Not the trust management. The contribution towards EPS filed with RPFC in your PF Code.
The EPS amount is also transferable on joining new employer.

Hi,
As per my knowledge EPS fund are trfd. to EPF Dept. and EPF & Employer's contribution are paid by the Trust in which you are working. In case if you filled up From No.11 for transfer of your contributions automatically every thing will be trfd. to your new PF Account.

Dear Sir,
In my opinion, there is nothing to worry as the exempted estt. maintains the PF of the employees but they report compliance under EPS to the concerned RPFC and the same is automatically taken care of once the PF is transferred to the NEW RPFC office via new employer as per submission of required forms for this purpose.

Dear Friends,
As you all know contributions to EPS of every member is to be remitted to the EPS A/cs. which are being maintained by the jurisdictional RPFC's office. The EPS portion never retained either by the Trust or by the employer themselves. So there is no question of cheque payment by the exempted EPF Trust. Once the transfer form(s) are submitted thro' the respective employers the EPS A/c from one RPFC to the other gets transferred. The transferror employer no doubt has to send the contribution particulars in the form duly attested for effecting the transfer. The transferred member will still hold on to his/her old allotted A/c.No. under sec.25, 23 of the EPS,1995.(Ref.Form No.13 & 13-A). That's all.
