Yes, Mr. Avinash is right. ESI deduction will be continued till the next return is due. for example if person is out of coverage in may in that case deduction will be continue till Sept. from oct he will discontinue from ESI Deduction. To discontinue any person from ESI will be affected only In April and Oct.
So, Thanks Mr. Avinash to provide right information

Dear all Members,
I respect Mr.Avinash Kanoray comments on ESI coverage of contribution period & benefit period,
but this issue raised by Ms Suneetha & she asked the quarry that.
Whether the attendance bonus will take into account for ESI calculation or not, irrespective of wages crossing 15000 wages or not.
And according to me that attendance bonus should not be taken into account for ESI calculation as i mentioned above in my comments and given brief note on the same.
Now I'm attaching one word document, almost 50 Wage heads & will highlight which Wage Heads should take in to account for ESI calculation & which should not.
Hope Suneetha's doubts will clear this time and I appreciate the members to contribute their views/comments.
Any clarification contact me.....

Dear Ms Suneetha,
In your case ESI contribution will be calculated on gross earning of employee as all the components of salary are within the meaning of definition of word 'wages' under the act.
Thanks

Dear Avinash sir,
Please let us know your view on below.
It is a special allowance being paid by certain employers to their employees to discourage the workers from absenting from the job. Any amount paid by the employer to its employees as Attendance Bonus will constitute wages under Sec.2(22) of the ESI Act and the same opinion was held by Bombay High court in the case of ESIC Vs. Indian Dyestuff Industries Ltd.. However, the periodicity aspect has to be kept in mind. In case the periodicity is more than 2 months, the same will not constitute wages and no contribution will be payable as in the case of incentive bonus.
