Dear Elders,
My vacation is stopped until I implement the new HR Software. The whole ERP task was assigned earlier to the Finance Manager. He signed the ERP except HR module since the particular company has NO HR module. Now it is assigned to me to find out a suitable HR module which can be integrated to the master ERP.
My vacation is due on 13th August 2012. I have requested my vacation on 26th July 2012 to 26th August 2012 for 30 days. But the CEO asked me to stay back and compleete the HR softwre and go for vacation Or else you find another job when you come back.
What should be a suitable decisions. Does an employer can stop my vacation since I had to go with my family as well as when the children get school holiday.I told him I have only this time available every year yet no positive answer.
Please advice.

I have seen a good HRM system called Adreline, go on the web and find it. It is not very expensive and seems easy to install. It is hosted system as such you will have to pay only license charges to us the system.
