I am doing my MBA Through Distance mode.
I have an Oppurtunity of doing project in HSBC.
but I am not in a position to decide what should be the current HOT Topic which is helpful to me as well as the company.
This depends on my future Carrer as I also wanted to do SAP in HR.
I am Working HSBC CAll center as Customer support Executive.
The Company provided me an Oppurtunity to do a HR project so that in future they will give me a placement in HR in Future depending on my performance in the project.

You can do a project on Study of Performance Appraisal at HSBC Bank.
What is the Technique they adopt for appraising the performance of the Employees and the satisfaction survey among the Employees about the Performance Appraisal Tecnique.
What are the Other Techniques used at other Banks. Merita and demerits compared to other Banks with that of HSBC.
I hope this will be a hot topic and also useful for your career prospects as well as for the HSBC Bank for formulation of their company policy on Performance Management.

You can choose a topic like Performance Appraisal as a tool for development.
You can cover topics like what is performnace appraisal system being followed by the company
What are the loopholes in the present system?
You can use a survey form to conduct a survey in the company ask for employee suggestion for improvement.
Give your final report on how the present system can be improved.
For Ex: Performance Appraisal can be made bi - yearly excersice rather than yearly routine so that the advantage of timely remedial action is not lost.

In HSBC Appraisal is be done twice a year.
But Performance appraisal seems to be an old topic I am not denying ur suggestion but just telling my opinion.
There is nothing much that Company will get a profit in that.
The project tht i do should Give Comp some profit :blink: which helps me in my Career and also to the Comp.
