I work for a IT company in India presently am @ onsite in USA ,here i have got a new job with other comp .so i have decided to go back to India and come back with my family .With my old company the policy says i have to be with company for 6 months after onsite assignment,so have decided to quit without giving any notice or intimation.
Will there be any legal action or please suggest how this can be handled.

While it may be tempting to rush things; what will it say to your current employers if you don’t honor an verbal or written agreement with your previous employer?
Obviously there will be trouble both in terms of legal front where you present employer can send you notice. More critical point would be during your reference check. The present employer can give a very bad reference about you.
Just look for a provision where you can compensate for notice period by payment.

First & foremost, no employer would allow the new joiner into their ogranization without proper relieving letter. Secondly, all the companies these days conduct Background Verifications. There are fair amount of chances, that you would be caught in both the cases.
This will leave a bad remark in your career forever.
