Dear All
This is Madan, MBA graduate with around 4 yrs experience as HR in IBM India Pvt Ltd.
Iam planning to do short term HR related course through IIM(correspondence), Can any one help me with the course details which are related to HR/Business Management & process to apply..
Iam able to trace some details from google, but wants to know how effective are these correspondence courses, can we really gain realtime knowledge from the materials or online weekend classes offered by universities. a bit confused about the subjects to choose, does the subjects we choose should be related to our work experience or open to choice..
Your valuable comments & suggestions would be most appreciated
Regards
Madan Avula

Hello Mr. Madan,
As you said that you have 4 years of experience as an HR personnel and intended to do more courses, so that, you can enhance your skills but i wanna say that you can do that by improving your knowledge and skill through reading/learning HR and Functions and activities here on this place. Here, daily we discussing several real life issues/problems and getting real time experience and knowledge. I personally believe that this is the best place I and we all have to learn.
You are MBA and have good experience and understand the need and concept of HR even familiar with work, therefore, you can achieve your motive without going for further crash or correspondence courses I believe but if you still wanna go and feels that you required more educational certificate knowledge, can go for One-year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX, equivalent to MBA) but why IIM? Anything left to share with us??

Hi Madan, I presume you are referring to the LinkedIn profile Ad. That’s E-PGDBA from IIM-Kolkata. Type keywords in LinkedIn ot get the answers. Tc.
