Voluntary contribution of pf
Hello friends i came across a case and regarding that i need your suggestions please the employer is not deducting pf on the grounds that an employee s basic salary has exceeded rs.6500/ per month. now what if the employee wants to contribute voluntarily for pf he asks the employer to deduct the pf amount from salary..? is there any specific limit on his contribution..? will the employer be questioned for his noncontribution to match the employee s contribution..? kindly explain the statutory obligations on the part of the employer in the above case... is the employer liable to file any documents with the pf office thanks in advance for your suggestions and clarifications. best regards chakrapani

Hi forum i am from india. i am an employee of an organization. i just wanted to know that what all the documents are required to get from the hr at the time of joining the company like offer letter engagement letter employment letter etc. are the above documents in series? are there any other documents along with those? what does each documents specify? what documents should bear my sign and company management sign? give the list like which document or letter follows which document or letter. pls help me with all the questions. thank you in advance rahul
Bond prohibiting employee from joining competitors
Dear sir i am working with an organization based in delhi/ncr region. i was asked to sign a bond with the company on a4 size paper which prohibits me from joining their competitors for a period of 1 year after leaving the job. the names of the competitors are also mentioned. the company asks employees to sign on a stamp paper when they put their resignations else refuse to accept the resignation and dont give the relieving letter and dues. on breach of the agreement company also asks employees to pay amount equivalent to 1 year pay. however the company did not impart any additional or special training and thus did not incur any additional cost on training me. please advice. kindly also note that most of the interview calls which i get are from the companies which are mentioned by my employer as their competitors. regards sachin
Color photocopy of documents?
Hello i will be joining new employer in few days. i have got all the documents from the current employer. now while submitting documents to the new employer should i submit the color photocopy of the original or normal b/w photocopy would be enough? the color photocopies would look exactly like original so will there be a issue? the new employer has asked for original releiving letter can i give them the color photocopy of the original releiving letter?

Passport holding - is it right to keep a employee documents without his/her wish?
I had recently joined a new it company at the time of interview company didn t talked about documents but after joining hr came to me and asked to submit my original documents as i am a experienced i said no to submit my documents after 3 months they told me that i had to travel abroad and asked for passport which i submitted and they gave me a written receipt for that . after 1 month when i had a talk with senior hr he told me that they will keep passport and return it back when i will leave company. so is it right to keep a employee documents without his/her wish?
