Dear Simran,
Please see https://www.citehr.com/31288-suggestion-scheme.html found by Googling. I do not know your background and, hence, it is not right to give inappropriate advise. Introducing training programmes without a clear aim and objectives will be futile.
More the information that you give about self and the organisation, the better the suggestions that people give will be.

what I understand is that there are behavioural issues with the employees. When the problem relates to behaviour, it needs to be dealt with some sensitivity and if you impart tarining to them, it is better to utilise the services of a behavioural specialist before embarking up on a training programme. However to deal with any bad behaviour effectively, you need to have policy or rules of good conduct and discipline. If you do not have it, please frame one immediately.Therefater you can have a meeting with them where in you can put them on notice of Company's Rules on conduct and the consequences of it's breach. Then counsel them. If does not work, you can try the training method. if it still does not work, you need to deal with indiscipline by taking action against one or two key delinquent employees so that it sends message to others.

If you are using the software to maintain HR activities like News, Events, Employee profile, Leave, On Duty etc... you can include one module for e-Suggestion where the individuals can post their suggestion and HR can view and address the comments.

HI,

I am also in the process of implementing a suggestion box..just posted few days back to know more bout suggestion box..

you can have a very innovative suggestion box..y only a box..you can ur self be creative and innovative by having a fish bowl, or a knowledge vase kind of thing. Start with asking the employees to name the bowl or vase...it can be any word... do not have punch lines like we listen, we can do it, creative ideas,...jus one name like galaxy, oasis, etc etc..

you can tell the employees thw kind of name expected...your suggestion scheme will start with the names employees give..

you can form a committee of few empployees and ask them to keep a check on the suggestion schemes discuss pros and cons..why is it required, benefits to the employees as well as employer..how will it be of help i nthe long run..or is it for a short duration....

explain the employees that ideas need not necessaRILY BE IMPLEMENTED. your idea was taken, discussed, is logged in by the HR for future reference,,,so what if it couldnt be implemented now...may be few years down the line the same will be implemented...

Do constant follow up with the employees and thell them what is the progess about the suggestion they have given.,say ur are heard by the management...put the good suggestions on notice board...let eevryone know about hte suggestions...ask others about their opinion...u will get the pros and cons from the employees as well...the one who suggested will get motivation to come up wwith more new suggestions...

Hope this helps...!!

Hi
I completely Agree with B.Saikumar .In Addition to it i want to share my learning . i was also part of similar case in my life i was in six sigma department of a renowned company where my role was to implement 5S, T.P.M ,in starting People do not listen to me , show resistence to change ...but management support , Training Programme with practical examples ...and yes communicate communicate as part of there team is very important. They should feel that you are for betterment of them not the betterment of organization ..you must know how to motivate them to do particular work ..tell them stories in your training.
Hope this helps .. !!

Hello Simran
Along with meaningful policies & follow up actions its good to have a Behavioural Expert maybe on contract basis to gauge employees performance & improvement

Simran ,
I think , you issue is dealing with difficult people.
Step wise I would suggest you to clearly demarcate "Nuissance Mongers" within the organisation. With regular follow up get them involved in the activity for "implementation of the Suggestion box", Involve them in the process and in the implementation. make them the core team for implementation .
There is when you will start seeing some results . If you plainly go for the implementation - Accepatance rate will be very poor. but if you use these employees, you will create a win win situation wherein you will involve the nuisancemakers constructively and also the denial rate of some new system in the org will be very low.
