dear sir i have a query on salary compensation being paid by the organization. these days companies are bifurcating the salaries into fixed & variable parts. fixed part is being paid on monthly basis while variable part is to be paid at the end of year based on company s performance & individual performance. normally the variable part of the salary is kept at 1015 of the total package. if any body leaves the organizaion before financial year closing then the companies are not paying the variable part of the salary. i wish to seek your help in this regard that since variable pay is part of individuals salary can company deny to pay it to the person to pay for the period person has served the organization. thanks & regards sanjay bansal

Bonus is something that is not a part of regular salary.variable pay is something which is part of your salary and it depends on your and company s performance. regards
Does employee needs to pay gratuity from his salary ?
Respected all i have received an offer letter from an organization wherein they have offered me basic of 10329 and also they are deducting rs. 497 from my monthly gross salary as a part of gratuity. am i actually supposed to pay this from my salary ? and if yes then on what basis is this amount been decided ?

According to my offer letter i have to give 2 months of notice period before leaving or have to pay 2 months salary. do i have to pay full salary or i have have to pay only basic salary part. my employer asking for full payment.
