can it happen that in case sales person is not performing as per target can we hold the allowance and pay the basic salary the salary break up being 10 000 basic and reimbursement of daily TA and phone being 5000
If a person is not performing, find out the ways to improve his performance by proper guidance and counselling. Reducing salary is not the permanent solution. Pon

salary does not consist as part of it the reimbursement of trvelling and phone expenses since you are reimbursing an employee of the expenses incurred by him in discahrge of duties. how you can treat it as part of my salary what he spent from his pocket.What left thereafter is the basic.when you hired for a wage for performing work for the establishment, how you can reduce it.Further there will be legal implication involved for reducing any employee's salary.
