I am working in Private firm (IT), previous company I worked for Causeway Software Technologies Pvt Lts, there I worked for around 4 yrs.
After that I join another company and applied for PF Transfer, the PF Transfer got rejected showing following message in EPFO website
Status : Claim Form 13 for Transfer to New Account Number: AGAINST Old Member Account has been rejected. Rejection letter is under dispatch/ dispatched to address in your claim
when I contacted my current company they are telling me that they haven't received the Rejection Letter and same with previous company too.
I want to know that who will be getting the rejection letter once the transfer is rejected.
and one more thing I want to highlight is that none of employee who left the Causeway has got PF withdrawal or PF transfer, so it that be any issue.

There may be PF dues from your previous employer. However you contact the concerned Regional PF Commissioner Office. Abbas.P.S
I have confirmed with PF office and they told that the previous Employer (Causeway in my case) has not submitted form 3A,
In case if employer is not submitting the form 3A, what an employee can do to get this, as this is mandatory to get PF transfer or withdrawal.
is there any legal way to sue Employer and can employee get compensation for harassment.

Dear Sir,

I had applied for PF Transfer from my previous employer (iGATE) to my current employer (Collabera) on 11th Nov 2011 by submitting my application in Form 13 to the Bommasandra (Blore) PF office.

I went personally to the Bommasandra office to check the status of the Transfer. However, they informed me that the Transfer is pending from the KR Puram (Whitefield, Blore) PF Office. I raised an Online grievance in the EPFiGMS system on 12th July 2012. However, the response I got from the KR Puram office is “The claim has been rejected vide dated 11/07/2012 stating that contribution not shown for the month of Aug’2011, plaese clarify and resubmit the same.”

I want to understand the following:

- As per the PF Act, can the PF officer reject my Transfer application on the above grounds, especially because it is clearly evident from my Pay Slips & Form 16 from iGATE that the PF for 3 days of August 2011 (Aug 3rd was my last day at iGATE) were clubbed with the PF for July 2011.

- It is right for the PF Officer to reject the application and ask me to resubmit the same. He could have anyways asked for the clarification, without rejecting the application. Every time I submit a new application, he could keep rejecting it on flimsy grouds like above and ask me to re-submit the application.

- If he rejects the application, should he not provide me with the Appellate Authority?

- Is there an authority where I can escalate my case to?

I would highly appreciate if you could provide me with this information.

I have changes company before 2 months i have fill up form 13 and submitted to present company then after i got message your claim id rejected and get letter. i have got rejection letter in which reason is “Member A/C No does not exist”. but before this i have logged in this site with my previous company EPF A/C number it display all information about my PF credited every month and i able to download passbook also.EPF account number display on site is filled in form 13 then after i got letter your EPF scheme has been rejected/returned due to the following reason(s).
