Dear Aditi,
It is better to search CiteHR, in particular, and the web before posting a query. For example, there is an article by V S Rama Rao at An effective buddy system Found at Google

Hi Simhan,
i've already read that and a few more articles.
The link mentioned above, gives very limited information on the topic and since i am doing a project on it i would require more detailed information (like - how a buddy is assigned, what is the responsibility of the buddy after the person joins the organization etc).
This post is basically for more inputs/ideas that i could use for my project apart from the ideas i have already thought of.
Regards,
Aditi

Dear Aditi,
I take this opportunity to inform that if we give information about what we have done, at the outset, we save a lot of time for others. Have you accessed and read all the links in the Google link that I gave?
In what sort and size of organisation are you doing your project?

Dear Simhan,
Thankyou for your help :).
I am doing my project in a telecom industry.
I have read a few articles on this including the link you sent.
This post is for any additional suggestions that any one would have.
Regards,
Aditi
