Hi, What is the remedy for people accepting job offer and not reporting to duty. Ardent procedure of screening, interview and agreeing to terms of employment at mutal level and issuing of offer letter...after all this and waiting for 30days, candidates do not join the services. What can be done at this stage? Aren\'t the rules of commitment apply here! don\'t we have any legal binding on candidate. please advice.
Dear Usha,
Every HR in any company goes through this scenario where the candidate is selected and commits to joining our organization and as the joining date is close they back out leaving us with no option but to source for new candidates and we come to back to square 1.
In this scenario, we have no option but to re hire the candidates and start a new search. there are no legal bindings on them but yes the commitment on those candidates are lost and hence they get blacklisted.
