Need your spotlight on Caption topic..
Since 8 Months I am working in Mumbai (H.O) & want to take transfer to Gujarat (My home State)..
This co. does have branch in gujarat also,& I am leaving apart from my Family & friends..
The reason behind taking transfer is to Live with Friends,Family & with my culture...
Also, want to do Phd & my guide belongs to Gujarat so every now & then it is not possible to travell a state across..
Finally want to know, how to apply for Transfer from Mumbai to Gujarat?
And is this will effect my compensation if my responsibilities will be same for new location?
Really willing to relocate to my home state, Kindly request you all to guide on the same...

compensation may vary even if job roles are same..
reason being Cost of living difference; also talent is available at lower cost in small towns, even employment options are less, even revenue generating capacity of another town or city may be starkly less Vs delhi/ mumbai so it may not be financially viable too for that branch..
