I am working as an HR Executive, and I feel that my communication skills are not up to the mark. Sometimes, I struggle to articulate what I want to say due to this issue. Additionally, I have a problem with MTI. Is there any way to resolve this problem?

To solve your MTI issue, study vowel and consonant phonemes. Visit Phonetics: The Sounds of English and...ersity of Iowa. Get hold of a pronunciation dictionary.

The only way to overcome your communication problem is to consciously make efforts to reduce the errors in your pronunciation. In other words, you will need a lot of practice and training.

Here at SutraHR, we usually get a lot of job seekers who have the required skills and are fundamentally strong in their professional field but lack the confidence to speak in English or have MTI problems. We always advise them to "think before they talk" and "Think in English, to talk in English" - talking to yourself in the mirror. Day by day, your confidence shall increase.

Read as much as you can, watch Hollywood movies, listen to English songs, and surround yourself with learning. Hope this helps you overcome your problem. Do let me know how it is going :)

Enhancing Communication Skills

Communication consists of nonverbal communication and verbal communication. Try to offset your average verbal communication skills by developing good body language, positive gestures, and postures. Learn to smile appropriately, be pleasant with people, and above all, develop good listening skills. Trust me, if you develop good nonverbal communication techniques, people will not notice your verbal communication skills.
