Dear Sagar
When an Act or statute prescribes certain condition to be complied by those to whom it is applicable, they become mandatory. Since they are mandatory, the Statute also prescribes prosecutions and penalties for breach. Please go through the Karnataka Shops and Establishments Act for detailed information as you seem to be located in Bangaluru.
