Hi to all the members of citehr community its increment time and i am told to prepare a increment policy for the company. our present practice is to fill appraisal forms and as per the ratings no. of increments are decided using a fix amount depending on the grade. i want to know what other methods are being used and which one is better and for framing the whole policy what other considerations are required. regards akr

Dear sir what are the slabs of increment after compilation of the apas for the year which other companies follow ? what are the advantages / disadvantages if a company follows: 1. release a uniform 9 increment to all employees; 2. a twotier grading and increment policy where 70 workforce is graded in agrade with 9 increment and 30 in bgrade with 7 increment; 3. a threetier grading and increment policy where 15 workforce is graded in agrade with 10 increment; 75 in bgrade with 9 increment; and 10 in cgrade with 8 increment. the ctc after the incremental increase on 2 & 3 above is 9.1 i.e. almost same. please enlighten.

Dear friends / professionals. i work in a ngo and to refine the prints of the existing policy which is a bit liberal i would like to have content that needs to go in for a policy that covers all aspects including data theft causes on which legal action can be taken how to take a legal step if employees run away from the job responsibilities or openly say that employer cannot do any thing against the person. kindly share with me or guide on how to redevelop and make them sign all the clauses so that against any infringement the employer has an upper hand

Dear all i am an hr professional and working in a leading real estate company in ncr. and my comapny is having the policy of complete 6 month nd ur entitled for increment.this case is this if an employee has joined on 1st october then is he entitled for increment or not ...if not y..please suggest what that person need to do in this regards. sunil sharma
