hi all,
i am doing my mba 2nd year....i need to do an assigment on training need analysis..i need details on
1. growth of training needs up to date
2. practices to present day
3. future of TNA/ITN(identfying training needs)
help me with these topics with materials u might have.
this is bit urgent....

Identification of Training Needs
Need for training can be part of a hrd strategy to develop employees at various levels viz., new recruits, staff for technology up gradation, Old skills employees (Deadwoods), Supervisors and managers.
1. New recruits: A package consisting of the details of the organization, its values, their departments, roles assigned to them, duties, responsibilities and benefits etc.
2Tecgnology up gradations
As per the new manual
Supervisory training and placement.
4 training for supervisors and managers
Training need is identified from annual performance appraisal
Lower quartile for warning (25%)
Lower middle rated employees to be identified for training (25 %)
Upper middle rated employees to be rewarded with incentives. (25%)
Upper quartile to be considered for promotions. (25%)
