Hi Medhana You mean that Gorss salary more than 6500/- or basic?. If basic is above 6500/- then if he don’t have PF in previous organisation then there is possibility for non contribution.

Dear Hansa,
You can withdrawal your PF. Go at your previous employer with passbook zerox & cancel cheque & fill form 19 & 10-c for pf withdrawal through your employer. If they not giving any response you may contact EPFO office directly. They will help you in your case.

Dear Rana

It is upto company policy for decuting pf on above 6500 basic fixed for any employee. In this case following are outcomes

1. Employer and Employee both pay contribution on 16000 basic i.e. 1920 * 2 (both side) + admin charges 1.61 % by employer

2. Employer restrict himself by paying contribution upto 6500 only i.e.780 + admin charge, and Employee pay/deduct contribution from full basic i. on 16000 * 12% = 1944

3. Both employee and employer contribute on 6500 basic not more than that

4. Employee and employer both do not want to contribute PF as basic limit of basic+ DA - 6500 is exceeds in this case and legal liability of employer to pay and deduct contribution, condition to that Employee should not the member of PF at the time of joining the company, otherwise once a member of PF S/he will be whole life member irrespective of rise in basic.

If it is so then fill the PF Exemption form and file it for PF officer visit purpose.

these all 4 options are legal and and practiced in industry.

I hope I made a point clear and help you.

Thanks.

Dear Sir,
YES. It is correct. PF ceiling limit is Rs.6500/-in a month. But if Employer wants to pay contribution
without any ceiling, there is no bar. It can be done.
