I am currently working in Accenture(this is my 5th company) from past 8 months. I do have total 9+ years of experience. Recently My first company(i have worked for 3 years) got closed. During the time I used to get my salary in cash and don\'t have any thing except appoint letter and releasing letter. Will be any problem for me if Accenture does the verification and ask me to submit bank statement? Please help me here. Appreciate your help.
Also please let me know how many previous companies Accenture does the background check.

Please speak to your HR and submit the documents, such as any letter stating your designation or similar communication, that you have, to support your employment with the firm , along with reference numbers to the managers, if possible.
There are many firms that have close down during the recession. That does not lead to job loss for all those who worked with them.
Accenture follows the Nasscom standards for Background verification. However, escalation such as yours would be dealt separately .
I have managed many expat cases where not just their firms, but even their colleges closed down. Legitimate supporting documents will save your day.
Wish you all the very best.

Hi Lakshmi,
This sounds strange ! "I am currently working in Accenture(this is my 5th company) from past 8 months". How do you manage to change 5 companies in 8 months?
Many MNCs as well as Indian firms demand NSR membership as part of verification. National Skill Registry ID to be verified and here you need to give entire educational and experience details. If one of your previous companies got closed, that they will verify and that is not going to be a problem for you (shut down of a company is something which is beyond your control). Hope you have salary info in your offer letter or experience letter.
Beyond this NSR, there could be one more verification (typically financial domain customers demand companies to do this) and here, once again they may verify all your education particulars and experience details.
However, please don't get panic. If you have given correct particulars, no need to bother at all.

Thanks every one for your feedback.
As I have mentioned earlier can you please let me know how many previous companies Accenture does the verification. I have been told last 3 but I am not sure.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Lakshmi,
Background verification is done for all the companies, as i had practically very bad experience. As in my case i had worked for one company for more than one year and also i have the all the proof including offer/experience letter, bank statement and transactions, Id card, till when verification went then that company manager told something bad about me like i am not working good, i don't have good behavior as i had done more that 12 projects in that company. And in some company he's telling that i was not working at all. And for verification clearance he asked me money. So what i had done i filed one consumer case upon that manager and now whenever verification goes from some companies he makes it clear my call.

Hi Lakshmi,
One more thing what you can do is you can show NSR verifications proof which you had register of the present as well as the past employer to the future employer. Alternately you can brief your future companies that your verifications had been cleared in the past companies but now that companies is closed, then you can show some legal documents of that company like offer/relieving letter and it would be much better that you can show the bank transactions for at least 3-5 months.
If you do have any concern than revert me back
Best of luck

My Name is Vikram Deshmukh working as a Manager in a private organization with an experience of more than 12 years.
Recently I gave interview for Accenture and everything went quite well until they asked me to submit my educational proof.
I completed my SSC in 1999, Diploma in Chemical Engg in 2005, PGDBA in 2011.
I submitted all the documents and recently got to know that their background verification team has issued a red alert for my School (SSC).
No clarification as to what is an issue with the school, my SSC certificate is through MSBSHSE (Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education).
The NRC Colony School was managed by the NRC company and few years back the Company shut down and the School got private, but I believe that it shouldn't make such an impact.
I know many people working for Accenture as managers who have completed their schooling from NRC, even if there is an issue with the school the board remains the same and is the Maharashtra State board.
Spoke with the HR heads at Accenture and have a unique reply that they don't interfere with the verification process.
My thoughts are can't the verification team be kind of in an error about the verification that is done.
May I request as to what can be done.
