Try and do a `Train the trainer` from Dale Carnegie or Franklin Covey South Asia, two of the world`s largest training organisations. These have more credibility among the training fraternity and companies.

It is a course that shall add in your knowledge but it has no method to enhance your skills directly.

Training as well as ID are skill-based fields. I don't know about govt. sector but otherwise what matters is your skill set.

You need to decide where your passion lies. Both are great fields. ID has more demand in terms of jobs. At the same time if you are a competent trainer and know how to market yourself... you can do wonders.
