Dear member,
Plz. go through this link. Hope you will get some useful information from it...

Do you have HR in your MNC.If yes ask them about the increment policy.
There is no difference between MNC and Indian company in giving increments.
If they want to motivate you they will give more increment if not less then.

Dear Mr. Arun,
Please go to your HR department and ask for your appraisal form, if they have not one then ask for the increment policy of the company. Since many HR people are open minded I hope they will respond you in a responsible manner.
With regards,
Muthu Krishnan

Don’t worry about the previous ratings Now you take more responsibility and work sincerely. Proove you are capable to do things in time. So you will get ratings. :)
Dear seniors,
I'm new to cite hr and would like to know if appraisal can be done for workmen( skilled , unskilled, semiskilled) in a manufacturing industry or is it only limited for corporate staff level. If yes, is there any sample appraisal for workmen category. Please advise.

Increment mostly depends on the profit / earning percentage of the company, if the company is generating high revenues it will increment yours salary per year on a constant basis.
