In most of the organizations, Training activities are done without seriousness. They do it just to build records for ISO Certification / Renewal or to have this activity one among the routine HR functions.
A good Trainer can easily change the wrong and negative attitude of the employees, ensure good working environment, fine tune the culture of the organization, create a positive impact on OB, mould the minds of Union Leaders to facilitate smooth industrial relationship and what not?
I don't want to mention the name of the organization where an HR top brass was killed by its one of the union leaders. This Union Leader who attended my training program years back did mention at that time "sir you are giving not only just knowledge on jobs, prompt our wrong behaviour and negative attitude - your training is useful for us as to how to lead our life with confidence and inner peace". The same fellow did this crime now as continuous training (training & retraining) was not done by that organization to keep the minds charged with positive thoughts considering the dynamic nature of the mind which is constantly influenced by message units arising out of body, conscious mind, subconscious mind and most importantly through the experience and environment.
Please permit me to recollect my training experience in BSNL. One of the participants was about to retire in a couple of months who openly denounced that they was no need for him to get trained at his age. In the evening, he simply cried to me that he had not been in talking terms with his son for more than 4 years and he would talk to him that night itself. He did so and said "As you said, your training is for a person's life as a whole irrespective of the profession. I can now lead a happy and peaceful retired life"
My principle is that when a person is fine-tuned and surcharged with enthusiasm as well as positive attitude, then everything will be perfect. The person is not just an employee alone as the person is to operate in his family and society. My job as a trainer and a change agent is to refine the person through right mind engineering.
My humble request to those who are at the helm of affairs is that, please identify your training needs according to the individual's working knowledge, skill and attitude which would definitely reflect upon the person's performance.
Class Room Training with sufficient exposure to Psychological Counselling and Hypnotherapy (as needed) is very much essential. Life Improvement Mind Engineering (LIME) is working on the same - identifying individual mind blocks that prevent a skilled employee from performing for the development of the organization.
Your employees are your real capital and investments made on them to develop, grow and work for you will seldom go waste. It has to pay back sooner or later for sure.
Please pay your focused attention in imparting training to your employees. Start engaging good trainers who can identify the exact training needs, individual mind blocks and who can chalk out a specific training plan to fetch you good results.
